Every now and then God brings someone into your life that blesses you. You feel a connection with them as you share together of God and life, the ordinary and the profound.

And every now and then the time comes to say goodbye.

I hate saying goodbye.

Goodbyes make me sober. They make me reflective. They make me sad.

Goodbyes make me think of heaven. They make me want heaven. They make me long for the day when there will be no more goodbyes.

Death is separation and there will be no more death. Goodbyes bring sorrow and there will be no more sorrow. There will come a day when we will say goodbye for the last time. He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more days of goodbyes.

No more days of goodbyes

When we all get to heaven.

No more tears in the eyes

When we meet over there.

We’ll be singing together

Praising God for forever

On that glorious morn’!

No more days of goodbyes.

Grace to you.

    Know what you mean Jason.

There will be many happy reunions when we get up there.

    Can’t wait.
